Project Samplers

Word Search Career Exploration Activity

Communication Syles

Three-Part e-Learning activity.

Learn, Practice, and Test.  This was done is Storyline linking 3 activities into one.

Drag & Drop Memorization Activity

Learn the PreAmble through a drag & drop activity.

Resolving Conflict

Learn strategies for resolving conflict in many settings and put them into practice through self-reflection. This was done in Storyline with states, triggers, and variables. I also used audio prompts and Java Script so that the reflections could be saved or printed.

Teamwork Activity

Learn the 10 elements of teamwork, assess your confidence in these areas, chose the area you would like to improve, and finally, set a goal. This project was completed in Storyline. I used a variety of states, triggers, and variables. Audio is included and the ability to save or print reflections.

What Shape Are You?

This activity focuses on getting youth to learn more about their personalities in a fun way using shapes.

Bloom's Taxonomy

Interactive graphic that helps participants learn Bloom's principles.

Success or Failure

This activity includes a guessing game to introduce people that overcame adversity to succeed.

CRP Informational Video

This has been a work in progress. I created this video a couple of years ago and just needed the right audio. Hope you learn a little about CRPs.

SPARKS! Lesson 4

Here is a sample of the SPARKS! curriculum for your review. I turned my PowerPoint of Lesson 4 into an interactive                  e-Learning module with voice-over using Storyline 360.  I decided to use the modern player since this is a longer activity.

Information Video

This is a short video about using character strengths to improve a person's well-being. I used Canva to create this video and Polly for the narration.

What I like

This is an activity for elementary students to learn more about their interests. This would be considered a pre-career self assessment. I plan on creating 6 additional follow-up activities that further explore the areas that student determine are their interest areas: Doer's, Thinker's, Creator's, Organizer's, Persuader's and Helpers.

Social & Emotional Content

These were two projects that I created as part of the Social and Emotional Discovery unit on Emotions. One is a short video on emotions and how being able to identify the correct emotion in yourself can give you clues about what you can do. The other is an interactive storybook where the user gets to help the character in the story identify her emotions and meet her needs.  I used Tunely for the video and Storyline for the interactive storybook. Click on the buttons below to experience the projects.
